Cox launches new HD channels in time for the Ultimate Olympic experience
More than 750 hours of HD Olympic coverage available to Cox customers

PHOENIX – Be the first to watch our hometown heroes make Olympic history. Watch Phoenix resident, Klete Keller as he races the 200-meter freestyle in hopes of his second Gold medal. Cheer on Phoenix Mercury star, Diana Taurasi as she leads the USA basketball team to success. Cox will offer the ultimate Olympic viewing experience with the addition of its new HD channels.

USA HD and CNBC HD+ will join the Cox HD line-up July 21, in time to provide more than 200 hours of combined HD coverage during the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing, which begin Aug. 8. In addition, Cox will also offer the NBC Olympic Soccer Channel* as a special presentation during the Olympics.

Tune into USA HD, channel 728 and follow Team USA in its quest for the Gold. With 165 hours of soccer, tennis, volleyball and water polo HD coverage.

With nearly 100 hours of Olympic coverage, CNBC HD+ will cover boxing, softball, tennis, weightlifting, wrestling and badminton on channel 762.

Tune into the NBC Olympic Soccer Channel HD, channel 721, as the US women’s soccer team looks to defend its Olympic title. Watch all the action on the NBC Olympic Soccer Channel HD as teams meet up to play 58 games. Overall, more than 750 hours of Olympic coverage in HD is available on Cox Digital Cable. Witness the ultimate Olympic experience as Arizona hopefuls compete for the chance to become an Olympic Gold medalist. In addition, Cox will also add the Lifetime network to its HD channel lineup, channel 724.

* The soccer channel HD will only be offered as a special Olympic presentation from August 6-24.
