Cox Launches High Speed Internet In Douglas
Douglas, AZ - Cox Communications today announced its launch of high-speed Internet service for Douglas, AZ. The announcement was made during a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Douglas Mayor Ray Borane at the Cox digital store on F Avenue.
For the past year, Cox has upgraded its network in Cochise County and Douglas to accommodate better video signal and to provide for high-speed Internet service. The new high-speed service will offer very competitive pricing and speeds. Prices start at $29.95 per month for a download speed up to 1.5 Mbps. Other faster speeds will be available as well.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer customers in Douglas Cox high-speed Internet,” said Tim Cervantes, Cox’s director for Cochise County. “Whether it’s e-mailing family and friends, downloading music and video at lightning speeds, or taking online courses, Cox Communications is bringing the best high-speed Internet experience to Douglas.”
Cox also announced that in the coming weeks the company will offer Internet training for first-time users in Douglas. The courses will help illustrate the use and application of the Internet at local venues in the community. Further information will be made available during February
