Martin Nestich Phoenix, Arizona
On Friday, Oct. 5, Cox Communications Arizona awarded yet another unsuspecting customer at home with a big surprise thank you from the company. A team of our employees showed up to the Phoenix home of Martin Nestich, who was chosen by the company at random to receive a prize as part of Cox's Customer Celebration Days 2007.
Martin has been a Cox customer since before the Phoenix franchise was even a Cox system, at least 20 years ago. He has Cox's cable product, high speed Internet, and was scheduled Friday for a service call to install Cox digital phone when the Cox "prize patrol" showed up at his home with the technicians.
Nestich was given $500 worth of Cox digital dollars to apply to his account and $500 to be paid to a charity of his choice through Cox Charities.
Nestich chose to have Cox Charities donate the $500 gift to Hospice of the Valley. He says, "They help my wife a lot and they are wonderful, caring people who will benefit from this donation." Cox is proud to be Nestich's cable provider and grateful to make this donation.
The Cox Customer Celebration Days is the company's way of saying thank you to the customers who it serves in the state.

Bill Baldwin Avondale, Arizona
Cox Communications Arizona gave a lucky customer who entered its Cox Digital Store in Tolleson, Ariz. for routine business a grand surprise on Thursday, Oct. 4. Cox awarded Bill Baldwin, whose young daughter Cydnie was with him at the time, $500 in Cox digital dollars, to be applied to his account. The Baldwins were chosen by the company at random to receive the prize as part of Cox's Customer Celebration Days 2007.
Bill Baldwin has been a Cox customer for a whopping 18 years and currently enjoys three of Cox's products, including cable, high speed Internet and digital telephone. He was at the digital store Thursday to upgrade his digital video recorder (DVR) to high definition.
Baldwin told Cox's senior community relations specialist Vickie Yakunin (seen in the accompanying video), that his favorite Cox cable channel is the Discovery Channel – and that he's excited to see it broadcast in HDTV.
Cox also awarded Baldwin a $500 check to designate as a gift to the charity of his choice, through Cox Charities. He chose The Arizona Burn Center and says he hopes it will benefit greatly from the contribution.
Cox is grateful for Baldwin's business and his loyalty. All week long Cox has been surprising customers statewide with gifts as part of its Cox Customer Celebration Days.

Lisette Coronado Glendale, AZ
On Thursday, Oct. 4, Cox Communications Arizona awarded yet another unsuspecting customer at home with a big surprise thank you from the company. A team of our employees showed up to the Glendale home of Lissette Coronado who was chosen by the company at random to receive a prize as part of Cox's Customer Celebration Days 2007.
Coronado is a basic cable and high speed Internet customer who was regularly scheduled Thursday for an upgrade to Cox Digital Cable. That's when Coronado was surprised by the Cox team with the gift of $500 worth of Cox digital dollars to apply to their Cox account and $500 to be paid to a charity of their choice through Cox Charities.
Lissette says, "I’m really excited about all the new channels I’m going to have now – the ones that are available on digital cable." Cox is grateful to be her cable provider.
Lissette chose to have Cox Charities donate the $500 gift to the United Way because she says it helps so many different charities in the Valley and as a result so many people will benefit.

Robert Lemm Scottsdale, Arizona
On Wednesday, Oct. 3, Cox Communications Arizona once again surprised a lucky customer, this time at the Cox Digital Store in Scottsdale, Ariz. - as part of its Cox Customer Celebration Days 2007.
Robert Lemm was chosen by Cox at random to receive $500 worth of digital dollars to be applied to his account and $500 to be donated to the charity of his choice through Cox Charities.
Lemm has been a Cox customer since 1998, almost 10 years now and has Cox cable and Cox Business Internet products.
Cox is on a mission this week to thank customers like Lemm for their business and their loyalty as part of its Cox Customer Celebration Days.
Lemm chose as his charity the Girls Scouts of Arizona, since his daughter joined that organization about a year ago and says she really enjoys it.
Lemm says, "I know they’ll be appreciative of this donation."

Juan and Olivia Hidalgo Tucson, Arizona
On Tuesday, Oct. 2, Cox Communications Arizona did it again. A team of our employees showed up to the home of Tucson, Ariz. customers Juan and Olivia Hidalgo who were chosen by the company at random to receive a prize as part of Cox's Customer Celebration Days 2007.
The Hidalgos have been with Cox since the company moved into Tucson in the 1980s. They have three of Cox's bundled products, including high speed Internet, video and Cox digital telephone.
"Our son and daughter-in-law recently bought us a new laptop. They live in Virginia and have Cox service too," said the Hidalgos. Cox is grateful to be a part of the whole Hidalgo family across the country.
Cox awarded Juan and Olivia $500 worth of Cox digital dollars which can be applied to their account and a $500 check for them to designate as a gift to the charity of their choice, through Cox Charities. They chose the American Cancer Society in Tucson.
The Hidalgos told Cox that since cancer affects so many lives, it is their hope that the $500 donation would help the organization further its educational efforts.

Naomi Fimbres Sierra Vista, AZ
On Tuesday, Oct. 2, Cox Communications Arizona gave a lucky customer who entered the Cox Digital Store in Sierra Vista, Ariz. for routine business a grand surprise. Cox awarded Naomi Fimbres $500 in Cox digital dollars, to be applied to her account as payment. Fimbres was chosen by the company at random to receive the prize as part of Cox's Customer Celebration Days 2007.
Fimbres has only been a Cox customer for three years and currently enjoys Cox cable and high speed Internet. Cox is grateful for all of its customers, including those who have been with us for a very long time and those who have just joined the Cox family of products and services.
Fimbres told Cox's senior community relations specialist Vickie Yakunin (seen in the accompanying video), "My favorite channel is MTV, but I also like the Food Network and HGTV." Cox is proud to be providing Naomi with her favorite cable channels.
Cox also awarded Fimbres a $500 check for her to designate as a gift to the charity of her choice, through Cox Charities. She chose the Child and Family Resources, Inc. of Tucson, which is a nonprofit whose mission is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all children and their families.

James Fisher
On Monday, Oct. 1, Cox Communications Arizona showed up, much like a prize patrol, to the home of Gilbert, Ariz. customer James Fisher who was chosen by the company at random to receive a prize as part of Cox's Customer Celebration Days 2007.
Fisher has been a Cox customer for about 20 years and was scheduled Monday to have Cox's digital telephone product added to his services, which already include digital cable and high speed Internet.
Fisher says of his Cox products, "I love to watch sports in high definition." And Cox loves that Fisher loves his HDTV.
Cox awarded Fisher $500 worth of Cox digital dollars which can be applied to his account and a $500 check for Fisher to designate as a gift to the charity of his choice, through Cox Charities.
Fisher chose St. Vincent de Paul church where he's been very involved for many years.
