Robert Wilson is Senior Vice President of Programming for Cox Communications and has overall responsibility for all strategies, relationships, and contracts related to all video content providers supplying the programming that is carried on Cox’s cable systems, including linear basic cable, premium, and specialty networks and programming packages, video on demand content, and high definition television signals. Included in his responsibilities are retransmission consent agreements with local broadcast television stations. Wilson also serves on the Board of Directors of INDemand and Music Choice.

Wilson was promoted to Senior Vice President of Programming for Cox Communications Inc. in 2003. He joined Cox in 1979 as Assistant Business Manager and later served as Director of Operations, Finance and Administration. Wilson was named Director of Programming in 1989 and Vice President of Programming in 1997. He is a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA with a B.S. in finance, Wilson also holds an M.B.A. from Georgia State in Atlanta, GA.
