As Senior Vice President of Technology for Cox Communications, Jay Rolls provides strategic direction for enterprise-wide engineering design, development and future technologies across all Cox product lines.

Rolls joined Cox in 1995 as Director of Multimedia Technology. He was promoted to Vice President of Data Engineering in 2001 and Vice President of Telephone & Data Engineering in 2003. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Technology where he oversaw technology engineering for all voice, video and Internet products. Prior to joining Cox, he served as Vice President of Network Engineering at Excite@Home.

A graduate of the University of Virginia, Rolls holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He earned a master’s degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
