FEBRUARY FRENZY

For the second year in a row the Glendale Arena at Westgate, Cox Media and the AIA have created an Integrated Marketing Partnership to bring Arizona familes and sports enthusiasts the excitment and passion that is high school sports. Nothing matches the commitment of the players, coaches, parents, relatives and fans of high school sports for Basketball, Wrestling and Spirit Line.

Spirit Line Competition - Cox7 Arizona is once again proud to present the AIA Spirit Line competition to kick off February Frenzy. A two hour re-cap show highlighting the performances will air on Cox7 February 4th at 5:30 p.m. and on February 7th at 6:30 p.m.

All conferences will be represented in the show, from 1A all the way through 5A. Highlights include the co-ed competition, show cheer, and stunt. Among schools expected to compete are three time defending 3A champions, Seton Catholic and 5A powerhouses Xavier and Mesa Mountain View.

Wrestling - One of the crowd favorite events of February Frenzy, the AIA Wrestling Championships presented by Ashley Furniture, returns to Cox7 Arizona on February 18th, 21st and 23rd at 5:30 p.m. Teams from all over the state gather at Glendale Arena to determine the team and individual champions in all weight categories. The two hour highlight show will represent each weight class and all conferences.

Basketball - LIVE AIA high school basketball presented by APS caps off another great February Frenzy on Cox7 Arizona. Four days of live championship basketball featuring 10 title games in all. Both the girls and boys championships of each conference will be shown. Beginning on February 24th, the 4A-2 conference kicks off the hardwood action with games at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The following day, February 25th, will be four games in eight hours, a smorgasbord of high school basketball featuring the 4A-1 title games and the 3A conference title. The first game starts at 2:00 p.m.

On March 7th, the 5A-2 conference takes center court starting at 6:00 p.m. and the 5A-1 games conclude February Frenzy the next day, also at 6:00 p.m. Don't miss any of the action. The best in high school basketball on Cox7 Arizona, the home of high school sports.
